“Cinema-grind” Californian band Graf Orlock will soon be releasing their new full-length properly titled “Destination Time Today.” Previous releases were titled “Destination Time Yesterday” 10″ and “Destination Time Tomorrow,” so why not make life easy and fill in the void for “today”?

If you haven’t heard of them, the music is an interesting cocktail of merciless, fast and often chugging guitar riffage and audio clips from 80s and 90s action movies. Surprisingly, it’s all heavenly live; they put on one hell of a show. I haven’t seen them with their new vocalist yet, but when the band had Kalvin Kristoff, one of his plugs would always be lost in the audience due to aggressive action from the crowd and his out of control stage presence.

This new album will be on pre-order via Vitriol Records mailing-list, so if you want to get your hands on a musical gem, and maybe sweet packaging, then you better sign up or you’re out of the pre-ordering game.

140 of the 1000 copies are silver vinyl, and it’s on a first come first serve basis. Those who lucked out of the 140 edition will end up getting the release in white. I would try going for the silver, because it also comes with an assortment of goodies.

Note: I’ve been on this hard-ass music phase lately. There will be more variety, I promise. And more fashion.
